The Third Pioneering Innovations in Ophthalmology (PIO) conference was organized by Hashmanis Hopsital that held on 15th of July 2017 with the same goal to deliver information but with a new topic on “New Advancement in VR surgery”. In this educational conference the experts of the field talked about Vitreo-retinal, aka VR surgery, which is a sub-speciality discipline of ophthalmology that takes diseases of the vitreous and retina into consideration. This conference, as always, gave an unparalleled opportunity to network with colleagues and learn from the leaders of ophthalmology and helped many aspiring students in many ways.
