Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman

Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman is a highly proficient eye specialist bringing over 30 years of intensive experience in ophthalmology. He has achieved various qualifications including MBBS from Sindh Medical College, Pakistan, Medical Fellowship (MD) and Fellow American College of Surgeons (FACS) degrees in pediatric ophthalmology, USA. He has successfully performed thousands of surgeries supporting various eye conditions comprising; refractive errors, cataract, retinal issues, glaucoma, corneal problems, diabetic retinopathy, canaloplasty, lacrimal surgery, orbital surgery, macular hole surgery among many others.

Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman has a family history of growing eye problems and blindness. He used to attend various medical camps and realized scarcities in quality eye care and limited skillful eye specialists across the nation, leading and influencing him to join the field of ophthalmology.

Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman has been with Hashmanis for over 18 years and takes pride in being a crucial part in introducing various advanced and novel technologies into Pakistan. (i.e., Phaco, LASIK, Femto LASIK, Femto Cataract among others) He is passionate towards serving and supporting humanity and constantly helps running on-going free medical and surgical camps under Hashmanis Medical Welfare Foundation servicing the eyecare needs of the underprivileged society.

Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman has authored numerous medical research and publications and has given several presentations in national conferences and seminars spreading eye health awareness and education. He holds premium membership with Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and has been a key part of Pioneering Innovations in Ophthalmology (PIO) via Hashmanis Group of Hospitals.

In his spare time, Dr. Khaliq ur Rehman enjoys staying active by playing cricket, badminton or table tennis
