Following are the eye conditions that can be rectified through our laser procedure.

Myopia (Nearsightedness)

Myopia is an eye condition also referred as nearsightedness, in which a patient can see near objects clearly but not distant objects as they appear blurry. This only happens when a person’s eyes are longer than usual thus preventing them from looking at a distance.

Hyperopia (Farsighted)

Another common eye condition is Hyperopia, or farsightedness. This is when the patient is having difficulty in looking at the objects that are nearby compared to the objects that are at a distance. In Hyperopia, the size of the eye is shorter than a normal-sized one, making the viewer face difficulty in viewing nearby objects.

Astigmatism

In Astigmatism the objects at near or far, both distances become blurry. This is mainly due to the irregular shape of the cornea (eye lens). The shape of the Astigmatic eye resembles a football and not a sphere.

Presbyopia (Reading Vision)

Presbyopia is one of the most common eye conditions that progresses with age, once they cross 40. In this the patient has difficulty in focusing on small details, like fine print. Presbyopia patients usually wear reading glasses to see small objects more clearly.

Cataracts

Cataract is a clouding of the lens that affects vision of the eye. It is one of the most common medical condition associated with aging. By the age of 80, most of the people have a cataract or have had gone cataract surgery.

Keratoconus

Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease which is very common in people around the world and often begins in adolescence and adulthood which most people are not aware of.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is amongst the leading causes of blindness in the world. Glaucoma results when the optic nerve becomes damaged, which connects the eye to the brain.

Many patients facing vision correction visit Hashmanis Hospital to get treated. However, there are some factors that could affect your eligibility, including:
